I couldn’t find the keys to the car. My wife was out of town. The kids were driving me crazy. I had a headache. My son broke his glasses in a fit of anger.
While working in the yard a large thorn pierced my thumb. My football team got clobbered by its in-state rival. The kitchen was a mess. One of the bikes had a flat tire.
And then my son walked into my room. He handed me something he had just made.
It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very awesome day.

I love when bad days are suddenly made better. What a cute gift!
